Meet Joyce
Hey there! I'm so excited you're thinking about booking an appointment with me. Allow me to introduce myself - I'm a hairdresser born and raised in the beautiful town of Fallbrook, California.
Back in 1999, I had my sights set on grad school to become a therapist for at-risk youth. But one day, while I was scrolling through the TV channels, the hair gods (yes, they do exist) whispered in my ear "You're meant to be a hairdresser." And I was like "Wow, I had no idea where that idea came from or what inspired it but, I was sure!" So I listened and 3 weeks later I was in beauty school. And now, over 20 years later, I'm still loving every single snip, chop, and curl I make. the "Book Now" tab and let's make it happen!
I'm a big fan of flexibility, and that's one of the reasons why I chose hairdressing as my career. I'm able to work 3-4 days a week, which means the rest of the week I get to spend time with my amazing family - my husband, my adult daughter, and my twin 9-year-olds. When I'm not in the salon, you can find me in the gym or out for a run most days of the week. Because, let's be real, a good workout is the best way to start the day and stay sane.
I'm always eager to learn, and that's why I continue my education by regularly attending classes and events. I have extensive training in haircutting, coloring, highlighting, and balayage. And that's not all, I'm always up for a challenge, so feel free to bring your wildest hair dreams to me and I'll make them happen.
When you come to see me, I'm going to take the time to get to know you, your hair, and your hair goals. I'll listen to your ideas, and we'll discuss what will work best for you. I'll also give you a great scalp massage while you're getting your shampoo. It's my little way of saying "you deserve to relax and treat yourself."
My studio suite is located in my cozy home in northern Fallbrook. I've decorated it with a mix of rustic and modern styles. I want you to feel like you're on your own retreat while you wait for your color to process. You can curl up in one of the comfy chairs inside, or on the patio, and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
